Ribble has launced a new bike, which will be available through its online bike builder. Prospective customers will be able to fully customise the new Ribble Ultimate SL to their own choice of specifications, all build around an 840g frame (size medium).
The lowest cost build is set at £1599, but the recommended spec that includes Shimano Ultegra Di2 11-speed, Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels and Deda Zero finishing kit will cost a bit more at £2,999.
The bike has been designed and built with a racing geometry, which the brand says will put riders 'in a low, efficient and aggressive racing position.'
The British brand has aimed the bikes at riders on British roads, with a seatpost and rear triangle designed to absorb some of the feedback from this country's often questionable road surfaces.
As well as the low frame weight, aerodynamics has been taken into account when shaping the bike's carbon tubing so that it is fast on the flat and on the climbs.
